The Frozen Alter - Background Art

The final design of the alter, covered in snow and ice.

I knew I wanted to do some sort of snow covered monument that was abandoned, so my thumbnails started there.

Here, I was using some random images from various vacations to play with my idea more.

From there, I picked my five favorites and cleaned them up a bit more.

After that, I moved on to throwing some color on each of them before deciding which to finish.
